Link Thursdays
Link Thursdays at Space for All is a weekly community space and café open from 10am-2pm every Thursday. We host a range of activities, friendship tables, and pride ourselves with being dementia friendly. This project was set up with the aim of providing a welcoming space for anyone local who is feeling lonely and isolated. The newly refurbished All Saints Church offers hot drinks, freshly baked cakes, and snacks to be enjoyed by all!
So come along on Thursdays for a coffee and chat or try your hand at some knitting or dominoes.
What’s on
30 October
11am Pets as Therapy - PAT is a charity that provides animal-assisted therapy through trained pets, mainly dogs, to offer comfort and companionship. Their visits help reduce stress, boost mood, and provide emotional support.
06 November
11am Grave Talk - A guided conversation that gives you the chance to talk about life and death, think about funerals and ask questions
13 November
11am Blandy & Blandy - Come along for a free 15 minute Will session
20 November
11am Creative Mojo - An arts and crafts workshop for everyone. Along the way you may learn new skills if you have never painted or if you have in the past, perhaps relight your creative side.
