A toast to community

Sixty guests had such fun at the Charity Afternoon Tea kindly hosted by Councillor Caroline Smith, the Mayor of Earley.

A special guest was Alexander Barfield, the High Sheriff of Berkshire, who said afterwards:

"What a fabulous event that was! A HUGE thank you for inviting me. It’s always a pleasure to chat to people."

Plus sharing the great news that whilst fundraising wasn’t the main aim for the event – it did raise a fantastic £896 for our Link Friends.

It was an afternoon filled with warmth, community spirit, and a touch of elegance.
