Lockdown 2: Our Response
The Community Response Team
The Link Visiting Scheme is part of the Wokingham Borough's Community Response Team. Twice a week we have meetings with other key partners in the Voluntary Sector, Wokingham Borough Council and Public Health. At these meetings, we can discuss issues faced within each individual organisation and how we respond to meet the needs of the most vulnerable in our community.
Phone Support to the Extremely Clinically Vulnerable (ECV)
Our part within the Community Response Team is to provide social support via the phone to those who are on the Extremely Clinically Vulnerable list and who have minimal or no support from family or friends. Previously the term 'shielded' was used but this term has now changed to ECV. Guidance for this group can be found here.

One Front Door Service
This time round there will not be a Food Hub but assistance can be given to any individual in the Borough who may be struggling to access food, medications or any other issue via Citizens Advice One Front Door Service. Please do pass this number on to anyone who might need it: 0300 330 1189
