Wokingham Walk

Could you walk and raise funds for Link Friends?

The Wokingham Walk is a charity walk with beautiful 5, 10 or 15 mile routes. All routes start and finish at Elms Field in Wokingham Town Centre.

We're looking to raise £500 to enable us to recruit, train and support 10 new volunteers who will transform someone's life with friendship!

Feelings of loneliness for some older people can be overwhelming. Feeling that you are unwanted, unnoticed and undervalued can put a huge strain on your mental and physical health. Nearly 20% of older people see family and friends less than once a week and for 11% it's less than once a month. With your support we can reach more older people in our community who are desperate to meet a friend.
