We're Looking for a Christmas Chef!

We are looking for a generous volunteer professional chef and sous chef to help bring cheer to around 75 local older people on Christmas Day 2021.

Our charity, which supports older people who are struggling with the serious impact of loneliness, has provided a Christmas Day lunch for many years - even during lockdown!  

This year we will continue with a home delivery service of a wholesome hot turkey dinner followed by traditional Christmas pudding and brandy sauce.

Our ideal volunteers would be current professionals who possess all the food hygiene and health and safety certification needed to run the kitchen to prepare, cook and package food for 75 on Christmas Day.

If you think you can help, we would love to hear from you and answer any questions you might have. Changing the direction of someone’s Christmas is a wonderful way to celebrate the day and we promise to provide good cheer and lots of festive spirit!
