Jinty & Rose

Jinty and Rose have been friends for years, and their bond has grown over cups of tea and strolls in the park. Jinty also accompanies Rose to our annual events - below is a lovely photo from our Summer Party.

She has told me lots of stories about growing up in post-war rural Berkshire; her happy but tough childhood.  They remind me of how much easier life is and how fortunate we are.

What do you have in common?

We both like gardens, board games, a natter and a cuppa.

If you were to recommend volunteering to a friend, what would you tell them?

You will get as much from volunteering as you give.

Have you seen any changes in your Link Friend since you have been visiting them? 

Out friendship has grown over the years.  I call her my second mum and she calls me her second daughter!
